Design Direction - 1
Variety, Customisation, Discounts are the factors that majorly appeal to the milennials when making buying choices. These factors are not perceived to be assosciated with Handloom. Thus, introducing handloom on digital platforms that milennials are so dependent on is the need of the hour.
Making customisation available guarantees variety and adds appeal factors to the products, thus an online platform offering the above is suggested as a design direction

Design Direction - 2
Since majority of milennials are still unaware and hesitant to buy handloom products as they are unsure if its authenticty, implementing authenticity factors such as the handloom mark are absolutely essential.
Along with it, details of the process of their garment/ product along with the story of handloom weavers on the tag can create a factor of trust.
A QR code could be printed on the tag, after scanning which a video of the entire process and the story of the weavers will be streamed. It will build an emotional connect between the customer, the product and people behind them, thus adding appeal and authenticity to the handloom industry.
